The weather has really taken a turn this week from the 40° rain we've had for the past month and the city has finally opened up its doors.
Tuesday, May 1st Copenhagen celebrated May Day, the Danish Labor Day. It was also the first time the weather hit 60°F. The day consisted of many parades and a festival in Faelledparken, which is just a half mile from where I live in Norrebro. Workers got off at 12 o'clock and everyone went to the park to listen to the different political discussions and bands playing music and eat and drink from the many tents that were set up around the park. It was a beautiful sunny day and when I finished my classes at 4 o'clock, I headed over with friends.
